Mrs. Carol Diane Lail Carnes, 50, of Indian Land, died Saturday, January 31, 2015, at CMC-Pineville.The Celebration of Life for Carol will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, February 6, 2015 at Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church, 238 Fort Mill Hwy. in Indian Land, with the Rev. Joel McMakin and Rev. Michael Ritter officiating. Burial will be at the church cemetery.Born in Charlotte, N.C., Carol was the daughter of Sadie Isabelle Poole Lail and the late Roby Edward Lail. She was a stay at home wife and mother and a member of Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church. She loved spending time with her family and taking trips with her husband.Surviving are her husband, Mark Carnes; her son, Steven Carnes and his wife, Ashley of Rock Hill; her daughter, DeAnne Carnes Williamson and her husband, Scott of Indian Land; her mother, Sadie Lail of Indian Land; three brothers, Mark Lail (Risa) of Lancaster, Gary Lail and Paul Lail (Trina), all of Indian Land; two grandchildren, Gabriel Wade Carnes and Madilynn Rose Carnes; and her godson, Christian Lail of Indian Land.The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, February 5, 2014 at Pleasant Hill U.M.C.
