Bill Spinks

Mr. Charles William (Bill) Spinks of Hermitage, TN went home to meet his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at the age of 96. Mr. Spinks was born on July 2, 1918, to the late Charles Ellison and Annie Watford Spinks. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lula Mae Spinks and his son, Charles Robert Spinks. He is survived by his daughter, Mary Anne Spraker (Rev. Larry) of Mt. Juliet, TN; Grandchildren, Amy Bartholomew, Kristen Spinks, Mark (Sharon) Spraker, Kimberly Spraker, and Matthew (Jessica) Spraker; Great-grandchildren, Miranda, Michael, Cash, and Presley Spraker. Mr. Spinks was a member of the Fort Mill Church of the Nazarene and served as a lay minister. He served in the National Guard and was retired from Springs Mills. The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 1, 2015, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM in the chapel of Wolfe Funeral Home at 314 Spratt Street in Fort Mill. Funeral service will be held Monday, February 2 at 2:00 PM at the Fort Mill Church of the Nazarene. Interment will follow in Unity Cemetery.Read Obituary
