Betty Jean Outten

Mrs. Betty Jean Outten, 65, of Rock Hill and formerly of Fort Mill, died Saturday, April 9, 2016, at Rock Hill Post Acute Center.A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 14, 2016, at Wolfe Funeral Home Chapel, with Dr. Tom Patterson officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hills Cemetery.Born in Philadelphia, Betty Jean was a mother and homemaker and attended Woodhaven Baptist Church. She enjoyed bingo, crossword puzzles, talking with friends and family on the telephone. Betty Jean also loved to minister to people through sending cards, spending time with family and friends and attending church.Surviving are her only child, Jeannie Lovvorn and son-in-law, Gary Lovvorn of Rock Hill, her grandchildren, Brandon, Brittany and Bryce Lovvorn of the home; and her brother, Robert Lee of Lancaster. She was preceded in death by her parents, Herman Vance “Pop” Lee and Dorothy Mae Tilghman; and her sister, Pat Faulkner.Read Obituary
