Barbara Barger Cook

Mrs. Barbara Barger Cook, 81, of Fort Mill, died Thursday, November 3, 2016, at Asbury Care Center in Charlotte.A memorial mass will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, November 12, 2016 at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, with Father John Giuliani, C.O. officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.Born in Norfolk, Virginia, Mrs. Cook was a daughter of the late Robert and Kathleen Massey Barger. She was a homemaker and was a member of St. Philip Neri Catholic Church. She enjoyed cooking, gardening and loved being a mother and grandmother.Surviving are her son, John S. Cook, Jr. of Indian Land; two daughters, Tina Elizabeth Cook of Ocean Isle Beach, N.C. and Cynthia C. Dycus of Madison, Georgia; and five grandchildren, Dylan, Leila, Landon, Hannah and Christopher.Memorial contributions may be made to St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, 292 Munn Road, Fort Mill, SC 29715.Read Obituary
