Our family is deeply saddened with the news of Barb’s passing. Our prayers are with Ed and the boys as they deal with their loss. Barb always had a warm welcome for Haley as she and JT were growing up. Haley cherished Barb’s kindness. They enjoyed a lot of laughs throughout the years. There was never a doubt Barb was an extraordinary woman. She will be missed by so many!

With our deepest condolences and the saddest of hearts we will miss you Barb. Our thoughts and prayers are with you boys today and the many days ahead. Pirate football was so much fun with Barb! We are here if needed. Love -The Struyk's (Uncle Russ, Allison and Avery)

I worked with Barbara for the past few years as a registrar at another school. I also have a NaFo student. Barbara was always so kind and complimentary of our daughter and her origami art. She also was so kind and knowledgeable about her job and making sure new families were welcomed warmly. She will be missed.

As a mother of a NAFO student, Barbara was always a joy to greet, and she always made me feel special when commenting kindly about my children. She was personal, devoted to her work and the people at NAFO. I will miss her so.

A sad day for our family!!! Share one memory with Barb. They invited me to the State/ECU football game several years ago. ECU whooped my Pack. I was sitting with the ECU crowd. She loved telling everyone within earshot that my team lost. Thanks to you folks that showed up today. God bless

We had so many great laughs from daycare to high school with JT and Dylan. Traveling to all the games, yelling at the bad calls. I called you " Yankee Girl" and you never seemed to mind that. I will surely miss your laugh, your smile, your sense of humor. We had great times back then. See you soon sweet friend
