Alfred Perry Marsh

Mr. Alfred Perry Marsh, 71, died Monday, February 26, 2018, at CMC-Pineville, NCBorn in Bridgeport, West Virginia, Alfred was the son of Charles and Nina Marsh who preceded him in death. He graduated from Bridgeport High School. Alfred spent most of his life on dairy and poultry farms as Farm Supervisor. The last few years, he worked for Catholic Charities, from which he retired in 2017. He loved fishing and camping with his family, especially grandchildren, Mia Zane, Chloe and Britton Wilson. They enjoyed their Pop Pop so very much.Surviving along with his grandchildren are his daughter, Jennifer Marsh Zane-Wilson (Corey), Of Fort Mill, SC with whom he made his home, and his sons, Craig Marsh, of Fort Mill, and Harry Marsh (Laura), Asheboro, NC.Alfred leaves three brothers, Junior of Virginia, Philip of Texas, Ernest of Louisiana, two sisters, Judy Kirkpatrick of WV and Linda LaTempo of VA along with many nieces and nephews.He went to Heaven peacefully, with his children, his former wife and mother of his children, Bonnie Hill, and his eldest grandchild Mia Zane. He was surrounded with love and knowing he was in the arms of Jesus!Through the loves and tears, he made the journey home, even though the hole in our hearts can never be filled only through the love of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ!Services will be private and any memorials can be made to the charity of your choice in his remembranceRead Obituary
